This is the Feast Day of Saints Jaime Hilario, Cirilo Bertran and companions. Bro. Jaime was executed during the Spanish Civil War in the city of Tarragona (Province of Tarragona) on January 18, 1937. Earlier, on October 9, 1934, a group of Brothers led by Bro. Cirilo were led to a cemetery in the town of Turon (Province of Asturias) and summarily shot during the same war. All of these martyrs were beatified in 1990 and were canonized in 1999.
