3/26/12 – Providence, RI – Earlier this month, four students and a faculty member from Saint Raphael Academy received Diocesan Awards for Catholic Youth and Catholic Youth Ministry. Mr. Michael Santilli, a Science teacher at Saint Raphael, received the “Companions on the Journey” Award for his work in Youth Ministry at his parish. Andrea Asermely, nominated by her parish; Anamaria Arteaga, nominated by Saint Raphael, and Kelsey Malloy, nominated by her CYO Center; received the St. Timothy Award, for exhibiting Christian leadership and witnessing to their faith. Kristen Gauvin received the Bishop Tobin Human Life Guild Award.
