Albany, NY – Even though the day school at La Salle School is closed, the continue to serve 46 youths on the campus providing continuity of learning. The faculty has developed materials for the day students unable to attend school and the counseling staff maintains contact with their kids. The outpatient clinic is also operational and has shifted to tele-health options to insure continuity of psychiatric and counseling services to all youth and families in their care.
The front line staff and faculty members continue to work to provide care for the residential students who are unable at this time to have home visits or on-campus visitors. It was important for the students to participate and help lift the spirits of others.
