Napa, CA – Kenenna Amuzie has been named as the next Director, Young Lasallians for the District of San Francisco New Orleans. The announcement was made by the District’s Office of Education.
Amuzie will assume her new role effective July 1, 2016. She will succeed Heather Ruple Gilson, who is stepping down after serving in the position since 2011.
Amuzie’s primary responsibilities will be coordination and oversight of Young Lasallian programs organized and supported by the District, including the Lasallian Student Leaders and Lasallian Youth Programs, resources for Immersion Programs/VENAVER, Service-Learning support, Lasallian Collegians, Lasallian Volunteers, and Campus Ministry/Student Activity Director programs/ support. She will also serve as the District liaison to the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) in many of these areas.
