5/4/12 – Providence, RI — This year’s “Many Hands, One Hope” Gala, held May 4 at San Miguel Providence, raised more than $160,000 for the school’s Student Sponsorship Fund.
More than 250 friends of San Miguel gathered in celebration of the school and to honor this year’s Miguel Medal recipients. The evening was highlighted by performances by the San Miguel Chorus, San Miguel Dance Team, and a video premiere from the Young Director’s Club (right).
San Miguel Providence is also celebrating a recent technology grant of $150,000 from the Russell Grinnell Foundation. This grant will allow San Miguel to upgrade its technology equipment and curriculum, allowing the school to provide students with the best possible education in preparation for high school and beyond. The news of success comes as San Miguel Providence prepares to kick-off its 20th school year this fall.
