A short French-language letter, written on September 17, 1798, discusses the death of Brother Agathon which occured on the day before. Bro. Agathon was the Superior General who reissued, and with greater detail, The Twelve Virtues of a Good Teacher which had originally been listed by St. John Baptist de La Salle.
