Birth date of James Miller near Stevens Point (WI). James received the Robe in 1962 at the St. Louis District Novitiate in Glencoe (MO) with the religious name of Brother Leo William. Reverting to the name of Brother James Miller in 1966, he eventually journeyed to Huehuetenango, Guatemala, to work in a Lasallian school year there, but on February 13, 1982 he was shot and killed by three hooded men. Brother James is expected to be beatified in the near future.
