The San Francisco District’s new Provincialate, Novitiate, Junior Novitiate, and Brothers’ residence, all atop Mont La Salle near Napa (CA), were dedicated on this day (Labor Day). The ceremony was led by Bishop Mitty (Salt Lake City; taught by the Brothers at Manhattan College), assisted by Archbishop Hanna (San Francisco; taught by the Brothers in Rochester, NY).
