After months of preparation, four music groups performed in Orlando

3/3-7/2011 – Orlando, FL – The St. John’s College High School Music Department attended the Annual Festival Disney Competition on March 3 through March 7 with four of the department’s ensembles attending the competition. The four groups were The Wind Ensemble, The String Ensemble, The Competition Jazz Ensemble, and Vocal Resonance. Each of the groups returned to St. John’s winning excellent and superior ratings with two students winning individual awards. Listed below are all of the awards received

The Best in Class award is given in each division, which is determined by school size. It is only awarded when there are two or more schools participating in a particular division. The Bronze, Silver, and Gold Mickey Awards are given as overall awards, and reflect the highest scores across all divisions.
