June 10, 2013 – After a 7-0 win over Monsignor Farrell High School on Sunday at Fordham University’s Houlihan Park, the St. Raymond High School for Boys Varsity Baseball Team brought the “AA” New York City C.H.S.A.A. Championship back to campus for the first time since 1989- 24 years of hard work and dedication! St. Raymond baseball coach Marc DeLuca and super-star senior pitcher and cleanup hitter Steven Figueroa, lead the team to the big win and to become the title champs.
“This is a big deal for our baseball team, athletic program and our school. I am so proud of each and every one of them” said Brother Daniel Gardner, FSC, Principal at St. Raymond High School for Boys. “This is a fantastic accomplishment!”
A great way to end the season, Raven pride is glowing blue and orange! Go Ravens!
