Bronx, NY – For the Thanksgiving season, St. Raymond young men were busy helping our local community and communities abroad. Raising more than $1,100 for St. Mary’s School in Kenya, Africa, St. Raymond students came together for a great cause . Additionally, more than 800 items were sent to the Mercy Center, located on 145th street in Mott Haven, to distribute to 250 less fortunate families to “shop” for groceries for their Thanksgiving meal. Students also served a hot Thanksgiving meal to all those in need at the St. Anthony’s Soup Kitchen.

A great way to kick-off Thanksgiving, 9 deserving students received a scholarship in honor of Damian P. Meehan ’87 who passed away in the terror attacks of 9/11. His beautiful family has chosen to remember their son, father, and brother in a commemorative way each and every year. We are so blessed for their continued support!
