Brother Robert, accompanied by Brother Ernesto Sanchez, FMS, the Superior General of the Marist Brothers, engages in an informal conversation with Pope Francis.

Rome, Italy – Brother Robert Schieler is one of two Brothers among the ten participants selected by the Union of Superiors General to attend the Synod on Young People, the Faith, and Vocational Discernment currently occurring in Rome.

 

 

 

 

This past weekend, Brother Robert took a break from the Synod to mark his Golden Jubilee as a Brother of the Christian Schools. Representing our District at the celebration in the Generalate, in addition to Brothers Robert Schaefer and Patrick Duffy who are members of the Generalate community, were Brothers Paul Joslin, Dennis Lee, Colman Coogan, and Kevin Stanton.
