3/19/2011 – Providence, RI – At the St Parick’s Day Roadrace inProvidence, a group of 20 participants from Tides Family Services, including CEO Brother Michael Reis (pictured below), braved chilly temperatures to raise funds for its Twinning school.

There were a total of approximately 5000 runners and walkers who participated in the annual roadrace despite temperatures in the 30’s.

The Tides staff and students raised $5,000 from sponsors and friends. “The funds will be sent to Christ the King Institute in Nairobi, Kenya and are a clear example of one Lasallian ministry helping another Lasallian ministry” stated Brother Michael in thanking all who braved the cold weather to do their part.
