Buffalo, NY – The National Religious Vocation Conference (NRVC), a professional organization of vocation ministers that presents religious life as a viable option in the Catholic Church, recently held its annual Convocation in Buffalo, NY. The gathering “provided amazing insights and lively conversation and above all hope for the future.”

Among the nine keynote presentations from November 1-5, 2018, participants were hosted at Canisius College for a young adult panel titled “You Talk, We’ll Listen.” Moderated by Sister Liz Sjoberg , (Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul) and our very own Brother David Deradoorian, FSC, moderated the featured panel of six. Among them was one of our Christian Brother Contacts, Jessie Brodka, a St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute alum. Panelists spoke on their faith and the challenges for today’s youth, while approximately 250 Catholic sisters, priests, and brothers listened, and many more listened in virtually.
