Advent Calendar 2022

Stay Awake! Be Prepared!
The Practice of Spiritual Attentiveness

In The Gospel of Matthew 24:37-44, Jesus warns us against “spiritual slumber” and challenges us to wake up, to read the signs of the times and to see the mission of God alive and active in our world today. As Lasallians we are invited to participate “ in the practice of reflecting on daily experiences to recognize God’s loving presence and action. This dynamic interaction touches the hearts of Lasallians and moves them to become co-workers with God in the mission.” Lasallian Formation for Mission: The Pilgrim’s Handbook ( 1.2)

This Advent calendar offers a variety of expressions to deepen our spiritual awareness through prayer, sacrament, nature, the arts, in service, and through relationships. Let us hold one another in prayer during our Advent Journey.
